This is a restored Heathkit IG-82 Sine-Square Wave Signal Generator. The signal generator operates through audio frequency range and beyond. This is a very handy signal generator for aligning the 50 KHz IF stage of the Hallicrafters SX-100. RF signal generators will not go low enough to generate a 50 KHz signal, but using this signal generator the alignment can be performed.
