This is a restored Precision 912 Tube Tester. The case is actually in pretty good shape, with no damage and only minor scratches.
Precision tube testers are emission tube testers that are good to test for a tube good/bad quality. This tube tester is a good choice for vintage radio and amplifier repair work. They provide a quick quality check so “bad” tubes can be found quickly. The earlier units were built to near military standards with the heavy cloth wire and quality components.
This not only a good looking Precision 912 Tube Tester, it should last a long time.
