Condition:
I have fully restored and calibrated this Precision 920 to original specifications. All key components were tested and replaced where needed. Accuracy was verified with reference tubes. The case retains its original restored finish and presents very nicely.
The Analyzing functions (VOM capability) of the tube tester seem to be working. I installed a 4.5 volt battery (uses AA type batteries) to restore the Ohms measurements. I have not fully tested this functionality. It may not fully work.
The Precision 920 was a popular, reliable tester for radio and TV service technicians during the late 1940s and 1950s. Known for its straightforward operation and stable emission testing, it remains an excellent choice for vintage tube work today.
