This is a really nice Precision 954 tube tester. The case is in excellent shape. The case hardware (hinges and latches) are a little rough. This tester includes “Set Analyzing” functionality that actually works. I made a replacement battery for the Ohm meter functionality using a ‘C’ cell battery and it works great.
Precision made some great Emission tube testers to get a quick good/bad quality on a vacuum tube. This is a good tester for doing vintage radio and amplifier work. The old wooden cases are pretty cool when they are cleaned. This Precision 954 is a nice unit.
